Portsmouth.  We hear from Kittery, that on the 24th instant,
departed this life, after five days illness, of a putrid
malignant fever, Mrs. Sarah Cutts, the agreeable consort of
Deacon Thomas Cutts of that place, in the 57th year of her
age.  She was the eldest daughter of the late Doctor
Sarjeant of this town.
ON THE DEATH OF A FRIEND.
But oh! the fix'd, the firm decree,
The grief of thousands, and of me,
Denies the pleasing sight:
Consign'd to dust the fabrick lies,
Nor more shall greet the longing eyes,
But in the realm of light.
